One of my proudest motion graphics moments was creating this work for Jotun during the early days of lockdown. The challenges were immense - everything moved to Zoom, we were not allowed to go to the office and I was working off a 5mbps router while the kids behind me were fighting over what Netflix show to play next.
Ah, those were the days.
For this project Jotun approached us to create an explainer animation for a service which simplified the sales process both for the sales team and the dealerships.
I was neck-deep from the start - tasked with creating moodboards and outlining the visual style.
I have worked closely (but hey, not covid-closely ) with Fifth Ring's creative director and account handlers to deliver this to a required standard.
After a couple rounds of revisions Jotun got their animation and I've been using the search-bar reveal sequence in my showreels ever-since.
